1-Day Stock Removal Knife Course

This workshop takes a quieter path to bladesmithing, focused on precision and the artistry of edge geometry and handle making. You’ll start with a piece of high-carbon steel and shape your knife through the stock removal process, cutting, grinding, and refining the blade by hand.

After hardening your blade in the forge, you’ll select your wood and create a pair of custom handle scales, shaping and fitting them to your knife for a perfect match. You’ll then take your hardened blade, finished handle scales, brass pins, and epoxy kit home to complete the final tempering and assembly.

The result is a personalized knife that reflects your design, your choices, and your craftsmanship at every stage, in just one class.
